The bedroom was so beautiful, the comfiest bed, and the out door space was perfect for yoga in the morning. The owner has a garden full of fruits and herbs, he gave us a greta tour of the property. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka. The owner also has a great shop, I bought a pair of super comfortable trousers, it was an unforgettable stay.

Had an amazing one-night stay.The room was clean,cozy and well furnished with a big TV.Washroom was spotless with good water pressure.Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.The meal provided was fresh and tasty.Staff were friendly and helpful.Quiet location,safe environment. Jungle Village Homestay is amidst thick dense forest and it is apt for people travelling to spend some quality time with nature. The homestay is surrounded by their farm and the owner's mother was very keen on explaining every crop and tree she grows there. I went with my mother and father and they were thrilled to see the enthusiasm of the host and this was our first day stay after we landed in lanka. truly a great way to start our Sri Lankan Trip. I am beyond happy to have had the chance to visit this place. I spent three amazing days at your hotel with such a beautiful view of the elephants. Waking up in the morning to see them, hear their deep sounds, and watch them roam freely in the field was an unforgettable experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to observe wildlife while enjoying the comfort of your hotel. The terrace is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everything is so cozy, clean, and beautifully designed. The hotel smells amazing, and it has everything you need for a perfect stay. My deepest gratitude goes to Roshan and his family for their incredible hospitality and for helping with the excursions. I am truly thankful for these wonderful three days. I was so happy to meet everyone involved in running this hotel and to get to know the culture of Penawawa. I’m already recommending this place to my friends, and many of them are eager to visit and experience the same emotions. We booked this place on the day we stayed and what a gem of a find! The facilities were very comfortable. Very clean room and bathroom with a semi outdoor shower. My kids loved the shower heads! The breakfast cooked was beautiful. We had the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers and curries and it was devine. Then my children had fruit & French toast. The son or manager then showed us around their wonderful garden. My children absolutely adored it and were so excited to see monkeys on our way out.
