We booked quite last minute and arrived in the evening, we were picked up and welcomed with a traditional Sri Lankan meal cooked by the amazing nana Nandi. The rooms are clean and the surroundings beautiful and quiet (apart from the beautiful nature sounds). Sudesh the owner is super helpful and tries to accommodate you in every need (from a Kandy tour, tuktuk service, or help by choosing a taxi driver, to a nice chat with a beer). The family has a lovingly warmth which makes you feel welcomed and at ease. We stayed here with our kids, but I would also recommend it to couples without. The fact that there are (almost) daily cooking classes makes it easy to meet people. To summarize: a recommendation from my heart! We will meet again <3

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The hospitality was exceptional, and the owner went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Very beautiful, clean and modern place. Wish we had stay longer to enjoy the hoppers offered by the host for breakfast. I like the location though it is not near the town as it is quiet, peaceful and nice. Value for money

We had a wonderful stay in Serene home Kandy and would like to thank Sri (and his family) for his exceptional hospitality. His kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and we really appreciated how Sri was always ready to assist and offer helpful advice. Kandy is a beautiful city, and his guesthouse was the perfect peaceful retreat. Thank you again, Sri – we hope to visit again soon! Highly recommend!
