Golden Ray Villa is the perfect place to stay. Sanjeewa is the nicest person we have met in Sri Lanka, his food it's the most delicious we had, and each and every breakfast is diffetent and prepared with love. His attention to detail is amazing. The room was beautiful, super clean, and the beds are very confortable. The AC is very helpfull as it gets very hot in Anuradhapura in the hotter months. Inside there is this little garden, were you can relax, and a parking place inside (for us was very good since we had our own tuk tuk).

Beautiful setting, very nice facilities, welcoming host. The drawback is that the place is some distance from the main center, and you are not within walking distance of anything. That means that you are entirely dependent on ordering tuk-tuks, which is not a problem, but it is not as convenient as being closer to the action. Excellent home=cooked meals.

The Water Front Home Stay was the first accommodation of our journey through Sri Lanka. Wasa picked us up at the airport and taught us a lot about his country, people and culture during the drive. He and his wife go above and beyond to provide a pleasant stay to their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at the home stay and both were very delicious. Wasa also organized great drivers/guides to both Mihintale and the Ancient City. He also went with us to see the Dambulla Cave Temple and dropped us off at our new lodging in Sigiriya. Ayubowan Wasa, we could not have imagined a better start of our trip! :)

The accomodation is very clean, new and comfortable. As well as the bedroom we had access to a lovely beautiful living room and kitchen. Everything was newly renovated. We had both dinner and breakfast here and it was amazing. We did two tours which were excellent.

    Ceylonima Home stay is a must! Mapa and Kanchi are the best hosts ever. Mapa is super helpful when planning trips or taxis (their brother is a great driver!). Kanchi has spoiled us with the best food in Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were beautiful too! We highly recommend the homestay.

    I had the most wonderful time at the Ceylonima Home Stay. It was my first accommodation in Sri Lanka and as a female solo traveler I felt very welcome and safe. I had dinner at the homestay the first evening which tasted great! The next day, Mapa gave me and my friends a tour through Mihintale. We really enjoyed learning about the Buddhist culture! Mapa and his wife make sure you have everything you need and the car ride to the train station is just perfect! Thank you for introducing me to your country😊

    Great hosts, very helpful and caring. We had the best food and a great tour to Mihintale for sunset! There are some bicycles for rent at the homestay so you can visit the old city easily. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay.
