We stayed one night here but it was an amazing experience and we wish we had spent more time here.The hosts were great, very kind and friendly. The room was beautiful, comfortable and had a very nice bathroom with an open roof. They served us a delicious breakfast and lunch with fruits and vegetables from their garden. We recommend this place for sure.

We had a really wonderful stay at Silver Rail. The room was very big and very comfortable. The family who runs it was so welcoming, they offered us tea and a delicious breakfast. They even showed us how to make the pancakes we loved so that we can try to make them at home later 😋The location was good, we could walk to the Fort everyday. If your destination is Galle, then look no further; this is the perfect place to stay. Just a brief 5-minute bus ride from Galle Railway Station, it offers unparalleled convenience. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family, warmly welcomed and cared for. The breakfast spread was a highlight of our 15-day journey through Sri Lanka, featuring an array of delicious offerings including fruit, coconut sweet rolls, pancakes, toast, eggs, fresh juice, noodles, and fried vegetables, all enjoyed against a backdrop of stunning beach and sea views. Opting for dinner was a decision we didn't regret; the noodles and rice curry were simply outstanding. With direct access to the beach, guests can relax, swim, and witness breathtaking sunsets framed by swaying coconut trees. For the ultimate experience, I highly recommend selecting a room with a beach view. The spacious, comfortable bed, amenities like a fridge, and excellent bathroom facilities exceeded our expectations. If I find myself in Galle again, this will undoubtedly be my top choice for accommodation. This is the best place I have stayed in Sri Lanka and possibly in the world. What a hidden gem!! The location is absolutely stunning, right on the beach facing directly west with the most amazing sunsets every night. The staff are incredible, it’s a super welcoming family business run by Indika and as a solo female traveller I really appreciated the personal touches and time they took to sit with me and chat. I had everything I needed and more. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Big room with a fridge and comfortable beds! We absolutely loved this place and felt comfortable there. Also the home cooked food is amazing!!! Area is nice to walk around a very quiet. You need a tuktuk or go for a good walk to reach the center/fort, but we love walking so it wasn't an issue for us. Great hosts, recommended :-)

We felt like home at Aroshina and her family’s beautiful home. The house is located in a nice and quiet area about 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to the fort. Aroshina colourfully decorated the house with lots of love and we really liked all the beautiful exotic flowers and plants. The rooms including separate bathrooms are very well equipped (cupboards, hangers for clothes, table, chairs, van) and super clean. Dinner (on demand) and breakfast was just extraordinary! We can only warmly recommend this accomodation and would come back at any time! Thank you dear Aroshina for making us feel that comfortable!
