We spent one night in Travels Nest to visit Ambuluwawa tower. We received very warm welcome from the family and felt at home there from the first moment. As it was late evening they offered us delicious dinner and we also had excellent breakfast there. Our rooms were nice and clean with large terrace and the house itself is very spacious and elegant. We had interesting conversations with the family and their two little girls are supercute. It is 20 minutes by tuk tuk to Ambuluwawa tower from the house. We really enjoyed our stay there and we can recommend this accomodation for 100%!

Only 15 minutes driving to Ambuluwawa Tower, the closest guests house to the tower, the tower can be seen well from the home garden. Mosquitoes net, hot water in shower, air conditioner, fan, free drinking water that you can fill in your own bottles and You will get welcome drink - tea, great owner!:) Before getting there, better call or write the owner, let him know what time you will be there. We only stayed for 1 night but from the moment we entered the door, it was like being at home with family. The house is beautiful and Ayesha and her family were so kind! They fed us an amazing feast for dinner and breakfast the next day, some of the best food we have had in Sri Lanka. The views from the house are incredible, peace and quiet away from the bustle of Kandy, although only a short drive in if you want to go to the lake, temples etc.

Very friendly people, and beautiful location/room. The family makes you feel welcome and the garden view is amazing. We were even welcome at a little celebration that was going on and organized by the father of the family. We had a great time with him and his friends. Enjoy your stay I would say.

    The owner were very helpfull, they picked us from the busstation for free. It's possible to get tasty local food (breakfast, lunch & dinner). It's possible to fly the drone from the rooftop or doing Yoga. We would recommend the homestay.
