I've stayed in at least 100 different locations in Sri Lanka over the years, but Agro Village wins my award for the best rooms. Designed and built by the owner, the rooms are light and airy, with all the plugs in the right places, an amazingly comfortable bed, no mosquitoes, a very good bathroom - with a mop! - and an outside area in the trees. The food is just right too. And he's planning a swimming pool! The price is a lot lower than other places in Kalpitya, if we needed any other reason to come back.

Set in Kalpitiya in the Puttalam District region, Dili's Homestay has a balcony. This homestay provides a garden as well as a terrace.

Dili and Roshan and their family where treating us as their family members. We felt immediately at home at their place. We enjoyed fantastic meals prepared in their own little restaurant. Each meal was prepared with passion! The last evening we enjoyed at a festival together what was a very special moment for us to dive into Sri lankian culture. We recommend them with great pleasure and we wish them all the best for their future plans.

A truly Sri Lanka experience with the right comfort. The host is great and speak good English. They rent bike and scooter. The room as private bathroom, mosquito net a window and a fan and it is nice. You have also a kitchen to use, water to drink and a patio to relax with big trees and a hammock. From there you can walk to town or to lagoon with fisherman with a great sunsey . I use it as a home base to go kitesurf and for me was a better experience then a kitesurf resort

Beautiful small resort for relax in nature, beach and pool + We were amazed by unique building, garden and pool with great rock design! The location provides perfect relaxing atmosphere, just 5 minutes to virgin beach, nature is all around. The meals are delicious and staff were friendly and very helpful, smile ☺️. We had such a great time at Ruuk Village! It is off the beaten path, but within an incredible nature at a beautiful beach. We had a lovely wooden cabana with open air bathroom which was clean and equiped with everything you need. But the best was the staff: they welcomed us preparing a private dinner at the wooden walkway over the lagoon, made delicious food (responding special wishes), organized memorable trips and even brought us to a doctor when needed. We really felt at home, couldn't have been better. Thank you for generating these unforgetable experience!

You enter paradise. Everything was perfekt. The rooms are nice, the people are absolutely friendly, helpful, thoughtful and top when it comes to organizing anything. Very reliable. The food is amazing as is tea and coffee. The place is so tranquil and beautiful. The place to stay!
