An amazing place where I spent 5 weeks! It has a large green area with only 5-7 small standalone cottages. There are many animals and birds, and most importantly, they don’t make noise at night. Nearby is Jungle Beach, one of the few places in Weligama where swimming is comfortable since the waves are far away. The staff is wonderful—always polite and quick to resolve any issues, though there were very few during my stay. Communication was very smooth and comfortable! I talked to many people on the island, and I believe it’s hard to find a better place—hot water, good Wi-Fi, lots of greenery, no noise from roads or trains, air conditioning, excellent service, and only 7 minutes by bike to Weligama. Highly recommended!

OMG!!!! What a lovely place. We were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. The staff are the kindest and most thoughtful I ever met. Breakfast was delicious with so much to choose from. We loved staying at Lavander. The family who hosted us was so kind and always available if needed! The house is located right in front of a beach where we got to swim with turtles. It’s very quiet, and we slept so well! There are shower gels and a hairdryer available if needed. We highly recommend it 100%. Also they can arrange a taxi to go to the airport if you need ! Thank you for these 3 wonderful days!

When we put a discount, we got the room for less money. A very complete room and a bathroom, a very delicious full breakfast, a very friendly staff, a very fast fiber internet facility is also available here, we wanted to stay another day but we couldn't, this is a place that can be recommended to anyone coming to Mirissa.

We loved everything about this place. Firstly, many thanks to Heshan, his brother Sadika, and their mom for a warm welcome. The hosts are amazing people, we arrived to Mirissa tired and sweaty from a long road, Sadika welcomed us and accommodated immediately with such care. The accommodation was supper clean, with a comfy and fresh bed and pillows, mosquito net, and the room we booked had an AC too. We got water and coconut from our host as a welcome gesture. Additionally, we're offered to use the public kitchen facilities, which we did many times. Because of the floods in the countries central parts, we had to completely change our plans and cancel our trip to Ella and Kandy, instead decided to prolong our stay in Mirissa and booked this room the 2nd time for more days, which we will never regret. We are so pleased that we made the right choice and stayed in Il Mio Mirissa. Big thanks to the hosts from the bottom of our hearts once again for making our stay in Mirissa unforgettable 💜
