Great place to stay with lots of trees and common balcony to spend some peaceful time. Worth a lot for money. The owners were very approachable and accomodative.

We loved staying here. The host are super friendly and make you feel right at home. There were some sweet cats, the laundry service was good and fast. Plus we got a really good deal with TukTuk driver/guide who took us into the city and to another tempel. If we ever visit Anuratapura again we WANT to stay here again.

Janaka is THE host—truly exceptional in the hospitality scene in Sri Lanka. He is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel completely at home, while also being highly professional and attentive to all our needs. He went out of his way to help us plan our days in Mihintale exactly as we wished—and what he managed to organize for us was no small feat! He was also genuinely concerned for our safety throughout our stay: while Sri Lanka is a very safe country, his attentiveness was still much appreciated. The food cooked by his wife was amazing—made with quality ingredients, prepared beautifully, and full of bold, authentic flavor. Easily one of the top three meals we had in Sri Lanka.
