Perfect stay. We fell in love with the place. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and had the best sea view. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food is a m a z i n g by any standard. Great yoga classes as well to start the day. We loved the easy access to the beach and to the surf point. We will definitely come again. Feels like home away from home ❤️

A picturesque beach with the lighthouse next door. The family-run hotel was clean and comfortable. You can get juice at the restaurant next door or get a cocktail with music on the roof of the hotel next door. The beach is safe for swimming which is not always the case in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend this hotel for its price and amazing location. Great AC, fan, comfortable bed, clean, nice decor.

We had a fantastic stay at Skyy Villa Polhena The location was perfect for snorkeling and surfing with beautiful beaches just steps away. The breakfast was delicious offering fresh and tasty options every morning. Our room and the entire property were **spotlessly clean** and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Matara whether you're an adventure seeker or just looking for a relaxing getaway! We’d love to come back

When we first booked it I was a little cautious because it's a new hotel and I didn't know exactly what to expect. But this place and the hosts hospitality exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have everything you may ever need. There's a common area where, if you'd like, you can cook a meal or practice yoga. The real stars of this place, however, is the host family. Thilan, his wife and kids make your stay a special time. Any request, small or large, is always greeted with a smile and a genuine willingness to help and go above and beyond. One night we had a dinner that was cooked by Thilan's wife which also concluded our time in Sri Lanka and all 4 of us agreed in saying it was the best Sri Lankan curry we've had within the two weeks. It was truly exceptional and made using only the freshest of the ingredients. Even after our stay there, Thilan was extremely helpful with organising transfer to the airport. This place is genuinely a hidden gem and I believe a great future awaits them as they absolutely nailed their offering and service. 10/10, would recommend.

We tried both rooms and had an excellent, restful experience at Ruvee Nature Rest. Everything is true to photos. The room is spacious, the furniture is beautiful, everything is clean, our warm & friendly host Dinu is also a WhatsApp text away if we needed anything. Beds were so comfortable and towels were soft & fluffy. Do remember to bring along your own shower gel & shampoo. Breakfast was delicious and of great value! There's also a self-catering area along the corridor with a stove, kettle, sink, etc. if you want to make a cup of tea and enjoy the view. Great location close to restaurants, supermarkets and Mirissa Beach, yet very quiet at night. Wished we could've stayed longer!

Really lovely new guesthouse, ran by a very helpful friendly family. Only a few minutes walk from nice resturants, bars and the ocean and the room was very clean. Really appreciated the strong air con and hot powerful shower! Comfy bed, modern facilities and set back from the road a little so it was nice and quiet at night.We could easily walk to the popular surf point nearby too. One of the nicest places I've stayed in sri lanka!

Extremely welcoming and helpful family. Lovely property with nice new fresh rooms. I was stuck with nowhere to stay due to a misunderstanding. They took me in late at night, I had no bags with me, they gave me PJ's which was honestly such a lovely lovely thing to do. The breakfast the next-day was gorgeous. Dhal, sambol, potato curry, hoppers, the lot!! 2 types of desert. Genuinely lovely people. AND THEIR DOG!!! omg, the cutest fluff Ball I've ever seen.
