We stayed at Sand & Surf for the first and last day of our Sri Lanka trip and were very comfortable there. Owner is very friendly and lives just around the corner if you ever need any assistance. He also let us park our tuktuk safely in the property. Room has everything you need, clean, AC, good bathroom. Would 10/10 stay there again next time in Negombo.

I couldn’t have hoped for a better start for my holiday in Sri Lanka. Still Waters Artistry is a small accommation with a lot of charm - a true gem! The beautifully renovated house is set in a quiet neighbourhood of Negombo. It is easily reachable via Tuk Tuk or taxi. The rooms itself are very clean and spacious at a very fair price point. The attention to detail is visible throughout the whole house, may it be with free filtered water for the guests or the comfy terraces with incense sticks in case of mosquitos. The owner Ashane is very kind and knowledgable. He was constantly available, offering information on transportation and things to do in Negombo. Also, he checked in if everything was okay when it took me longer than expected to arrive from the airport. Especially as a female solo traveller, small gestures like that make you feel safe and welcomed. The hospitality I have experienced was one of a kind! I can definitely recommend this place & will come back again. Thank you for everything, Ashane!

    The family helped us organise transport from the airport to the Homestay and helped us check in even though we arrived late in the night Family were very helpful and welcoming, especially the son who has good English. Clean room, hot water and great location close to restaurants and shops Offered delicious Sri Lankan breakfast for $4pp, very tasty and big portion Would 100% recommend if staying in Negombo

    Although I booked a room without A/C I could take an A/C room with little add on price. The owners are very nice and helpful. The location is next to the beach and to a dive base with restaurant. The owner's daughter runs a scooter and bicycle rental and I rented a good quality bicycle for a fair price. Also they provide pick up and drop off service to the airport. A super breakfast restaurant with prices for locals is available in short walking distance. Highly recommended homestay.

    This has been a wonderful start to our Sri Lanka journey, we loved everything about this guesthouse. The beautiful garden, the clean and comfortable rooms, the lovely host Keneth and the tasty dinner and breakfast. We also had the opportunity to use the bicycles free off charge to get lunch and get some impressions of Negombo, met some nice people on the way. Luckily we will be back to spend the last day of our trip at this wonderful homestay, already looking forward to it.
