Very nice facilities, nice room with a good air condition, WiFi working good, and location was in a nice quiet area in a walking distance from the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us with scooter rental and tour arrangements for a very reasonable price.

Nice spacious rooms, very clean and tidy. Crispy white bedding, new not worn towels, not far from the beech. But the main reason why we choose the place was a excellent reviews about the Udeiya’s cooking. And yes it was delicious, my husband was extremely happy with the portions :) Thank you very much for the great stay.

Moon Isle beach was the perfect place to stay at the end of our trip in Sri Lanka. The room was very good and clean and also it is just in front of the beach, you can't literally ask for better. The breakfast is amazing and also the owner Amanda is very kind. If you go to Nilaveli/Trincomalee, you must come here!

Amazing stay in a beautiful and quiet area on nilavelli beach. The Cabana was clean and spacious and right on the beach. Amal is an amazing host happy to organise activities and arranged pur driver to our next location. He cooks wonderful breakfasts too.

Nimals White House is just a little hidden treasure in the seas of Nilavelli. The guesthouse is no Hilton Hotel, but what it might lack in status, it makes up tenfold in charm, character, and atmosphere! Nimal is on point. From the moment I arrived, he took care of all of my needs. He offers a lagoon hike that is teaming with crocodiles, eagles, fish, and other wildlife. It was incredible to see. He also hosted a fish BBQ, which I was invited to join. His friend, Riz, a local diver/fisherman, arrived with some fresh fish from the night catch, proceeded to marinate it, and then they hand built a fire pit in the garden to roast! Myself and other guests were shocked at how these guys work and play! The accommodation, bathroom, and shared kitchen were spotless when I arrived. Working fridge, kettle, and all the utensils you might need! This place is a stones throw from the diving centre and the beach! I couldn't recommend this place enough! Thanks Nimal! See you when I come back!

The house is very close to the beach and to the Pigeon Island tour. The room was perfect, clean and cool. The owner is super nice and helped me a lot with my Tuktuk. Also he welcomed me with a soft drink super fresh and super needed (it was very hot 😂).

Jey's Place is fantastic. The owner Jey, chef Justin and Prasanth make sure you have a great stay. The apartments are clean and calm and the garden area really stands out in the street, it's really pretty. We stayed for 2 nights, but we would have loved to stay more. It's always fully booked, and rightfully so. If you are going to Nilaveli, this is the place to stay!

    This is a simple homestay run by a very enthusiastic host. The room is basic but comfortable and has an en suite bathroom and a ceiling fan. It is a cheap place and great value for money. The location is great. It is close to the local beach and a short tuk tuk ride to the main restaurants on the beach. In the morning they made us breakfast - roti and dahl and coconut sambal for a little bit extra.

    The location in Nilaveli is perfect. The beach is 5 minutes walking. It's a very quiet area, perfect to relax. The home stay has a good vibes atmosphere, with a garden with "hamacas", and full day open kitchen. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was very cheap and it has all the basic things you may need. I arrived very early and they stored my luggage, also in the departure day.

    We stayed in the older house with a veranda and a lot of shade. The room was cosy with 4 persons but with airco and this is the only thing we needed!!! The beach and a lot of restaurant options in the surrounding walking distance. In the weekend locals tend to build a party near the beach so this was super fun. Try snorkeling (also possible without the expensive 40 dollar visit to pigeon island) or diving. We drive with our own tuktuk which you can stall in the garden. Go and see the cultural part in the nearby Trincomalee.

    Great value stay, close to the beach. Spotlessly clean and with the bonus of kettle, tea and coffee in the room and a fridge on the verandah. Lovely host who even organised for our washing to be done at a very reasonable price.
