The wonderful Manager texted me in advance of my arrival time to confirm I was coming, he arranged a Tuktuk to meet me at Badulla Train Station, and greeted me upon my belated arrival ~ prepared a sumptuous breakfast, including early on my departure date, arranged a Tuktuk to take me to the Station ~ I loved the Property and elevated location overlooking lush Badulla.and the surrounding hills...

Lush in Ella is a brand new venue and a true hidden gem in the middle of the jungle. Yet it is very close to the center of the town. The owner Saman and her husband made us feel very special, especially pampering us with delicious homemade breakfasts. We have rarely experienced such nice and helpful hosts. There is tea or coffee and even homemade snacks on the veranda. the accommodation is beautifully situated in the green, so you can enjoy the lovely morning meal with a beautiful view to the green. we liked it so much that we stayed here longer than planned. Tuktuk ride to the center of Ella takes between 5-10 minutes and costs 500lkr. sometimes the host took us there or picked us up. we felt completely taken care of. thank you and we will come back oneday.

Everything fell into place during our stay. this place feels like home. it is simple, quiet, charming and authentic. The host Shiraz is very welcoming and charming. The fact that there is only two rooms in the house makes the experience all the more unique and appreciable. I really do recommend !!
