This has been one of our favourite places to stay! It was so clean and so comfortable. The location was great - It was walking distance from the train station (up a hill, but we didn't mind that - you could get a tuktuk otherwise), and town (literally a few min walk down the hill to the shops), and there was a great restaurant opposite too. There is a beautiful garden which has amazing views overlooking the hills - we loved sitting out and just chilling in the garden. The rooms were large, spotless and really comfortable. We slept very well. There's also free tea, coffee, biscuits and drinking water, and full use of the kitchen. The host was really helpful too - he put us in touch with a tuktuk driver so we could get to Adams peak to hike it for sunrise. Overall, we loved staying here and would definitely stay again.

Believe the amazing reviews of this fabulous home stay. The family helped us with all organisational aspects we needed for very reasonable prices and everything went off without a hitch, including a driver to Sri Pada and back. Service that some of the top hotels in the world can only dream of. There was an extensive food menu and everything we tried was delicious, especially the kottu! The view from the balcony was jaw dropping, we happily spent a full afternoon there relaxing. The bed was also the most comfy we stayed on during our 2 week trip. I would recommend this to anyone and would love to return some day.

A newly built cute little family owned place. The mom and son are new to hosting guests and were very dedicated to making us feel comfortable. They welcomed us with tea and cake. They were very sweet and the place was comfortable. It is very conveniently located close to a tea estate. 10 minutes walk to the railway station and a 15-minute leisurely walk to Nanu Oya Falls. The place is also away from the touristy area and so you get an authentic view into the daily life of locals. The locals were also very friendly, and everyone would smile and wave. The mom got up very early next morning to make us a cup of tea and see us off as we were boarding the first train to Colombo.

Most reliable wifi (assessed with speed test) I had throughout Sri Lanka. Comfortable bed, easy access to socket, clean and spacious toilet/shower room. Because of the altitude and climate, it’s generally not hot in October so you don’t get to be bothered by mosquitos that often. Hospitable host, a welcome cake and tea. Calm, polite and not pushy for adding meals etc. Near Nanuoya station. Overall a 9.8/10.

Best wifi in Sri Lanka if you need to work! The family are delightful, the rooms are modern and clean, great shower, kettle with tea and coffee. The views are stunning over the tea plantations! It's a 3min walk from the train station and the local shops.
