One of the best experiences in Sri lanka trip within 3 weeks. Amazing place, not only appartment but all Rekava. Definately one of the most underrated places in Sri lanka. If you are in doubts - you definately should go there. Peace, silence, nature, ocean, turtles, amazing people - this is Rekava. Lookout lodge is excelent accomodation - new house, all clean and comfy, perfect location near the beach and turtle watch center. Good restaurant nearby (reccomended by Chami). Excelent breakfast and peacefull conversations with owner. We felt like home there and all our wishes were fulfilled with smile. And - there is a pool now - we where the first users and it is great. Appriciated by our boys. Sorry that we booked just 2 nights there, would have liked to stay at least a couple more days. An absolutely great experience to stay at Sea Sound. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and they e.g. cocked a great seafood Christmas dinner and took us fishing. It is located 3 min. walk from the beach, where there is a small turtle sanctuary, where they release the baby turtles around 18.30 pm. (Dec.-Jan.). Quiet place. Great for relaxing and for families.

The ladies at Pearl Cave are wonderful. We felt instantly at home when we arrived. Once we looked around the place we were amazed at the beauty of the room, balcony and surroundings. Within minutes we saw so many water birds, peacocks and brahminy kites. There are other wildlife all around the area including chevrotains/mouse deer and obviously turtles. The beach is an easy 5-10 minutes walk. Breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly recommend staying here. You won't want to leave.

Just a super cool unique experience. We got lucky and got upgraded to the treehouse and the views and experience of walking along the wooden handmade walkways was super cool. The food was good and the eating area was very unique and right on the beach. It rained a bit but having the elevated room made up for it.

everything was perfect, whether it was the welcome, the room, the place is very pleasant, quiet, perfectly located near the beach and the hosts are charming and very helpful. we stayed longer than expected. during our stay, a woman left without paying and allowed herself to leave a bad comment. Shame on that person. you can come here with your eyes closed, you will be fine here

The ideal place to stay if you want a place super near to an amazing beach with a forest of coconuts!! The area is perfect for relaxing and enjoy the sea of Sri Lanka! The rooms were clean, very quiet with a Sri Lanka style decoration 🙂We loved it! We had also dinner in the garden area which was also beautiful and the food tasty!!!The breakfast too!!! But overall our best memory was Saman! The son of the family of the peacock place..We missed him already, amazing guy, friendly, polite and will help you in whatever you need! And if you are lucky an amazing night experience in the beach with the birth of small sea turtles is waiting for you there !!!

    Indi was a really great host, who always ensured we were satisfied and taken care of. He arrived each morning with fresh mangos and bananas. The food was absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed eating dinner at the home stay. Indi also let us borrow his bike for a small extra cost when we needed to go out. Overall, Three Little Birds was a lovely home stay.

    Great place with an amazing location! Just 2 min away from one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka ( Silent Beach). Nice and friendly host family as well as all other locals - we spent amazing 5 nights there! Cosy, clean rooms and some of the best food that we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. We are definitely looking forward to visiting again!!

    I spent Christmas at Ajanee's HomeStay. Ajanee's family were great hosts. I was offered the choice of Sri Lankan or western breakfasts, I chose Sri Lankan. The breakfasts were huge, and different each morning. The bedroom was large, and there was a large shaded open space just for me. It was a wonderful place to spend a few days, quiet, away from the Tangalle strip, close to the Madakatiya beach, with the lifeguarded Tangalle Town Beach a short walk away. I would stay here again
