Homestays in Jēkabpils

Breakfast was just perfect, despite there were only two of us, breakfast was served as in large hotels with variety of food to chose from, everything fresh and tasty, eggs cooked specially for us, hot and fresh. We loved it.

I was greeted by the host who spoke very good English. The place is very quirky and you could actually spend a day just looking at all the curio that has been collected. The room I stayed in was very roomy. Downstairs there is a very well equipped kitchen and a large dining room that you are free to use. Eating in your room is not permitted ( say for the odd cookie). Very close to the river and a promenade along the river bank where you can relax and soak up the peaceful views. Pharmacy next door with a convenience store over the road. I recommend staying here. Definitely value for money.
