We had a fantastic time at the VB cottage mansion. The place is very elegantly decorated, spotless clean, everything seems brand new, and the owner of the property is extremely kind in catering to our needs. The place is close to the woodland area for all kinds of activities. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely revisit again when we visit Latvia.

Lovely and colourful spot in a beautiful Latvian countryside with a feeling of a "ranch" - there are goats, chickens, cats, dogs and a lake just opposite that you can sail on with a boat. The host is very friendly and welcoming (Russian speaker, no English) and will prepare breakfast at an extra charge if you ask for it (we had delicious "blini" and fried eggs + sausages - the host asks what you want to eat). The place is full of art (paintings) and rooms are large and colourful - the place has a very unique character. Call the host directly for information about choice of rooms.
