The room smelled amazing, because of delicate and soothing scent of dried rose petals. Whole house was very clean, colorful and beautiful. For breakfast we got both sweet and savory food, so everybody was happy. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. We honestly all regreted that we booked our rooms only for one night. Very peaceful place and a wonderful base to hike in the nearby river canyons like Todra Gorge and Dades Gorges.

It was the best night during our trip in Morocco. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We get delicious dinner and breakfast and spent really good time with the owner and the crew playing cards, talking about our cultures, playing on instruments and dancing. It was really fun! We were guided by Mohammed to Monkey fingers and the canyon - definetly worth to see! I would visit this place once again in the future

I highly recommend this stay to everyone. We arrived at the kasbah quite late—around 9 PM—and were warmly welcomed by the hosts. As a greeting, they offered us tea and even treated us to a hot soup, all as part of their hospitality, without expecting any extra payment. I really liked both the owners and the place itself. It is beautiful, clean, and atmospheric, allowing you to fully experience the local charm. The hosts made sure we felt at home. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely fabulous experience. Great family hotel with carrying staff. Decently decorated interiors in local style. Nice rooms, adequate bathroom with hot water. Free parking place in front of the hotel. Riverview and 5 minutes by car to main viewpoint attraction. Wifi available in common spaces. In-house restaurant with local cuisine. No need to think, just book it. You will love this hotel. Like me.

EVERYTHING :) Very friendly host. Tidy and spacy room. Very tasty diner in a cosy room in front of the fireplace. Generous breakfast on the rooftop terrace with a stunning view. Highly recommend.

The place was really cozy and the owner made us feel at home by providing a spacious room and good common areas. Furthermore the breakfast was really delicious and fitted our need. All in all we can really recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place to stay and spend their time by enjoying the beautiful gorges.

What we liked? Everything! Fatima and her family are wonderful hosts. Super nice and friendly. The house has amazing view and you can hear the river from the room. In case you stay there in winter months, there is no AC to warm the room but enough blankets to keep you warm (our room was on the top of the house, the rooms inside I think will be warmer but with no view). We suggest to take the dinner, it was very good and super abundant. And same we suggest to make the canyon tour with her brother: amazing experience but make sure to bring some trekking shoes! Last but not least it's an artist house (Fatima) so everything is well lit.

My wife wondered whether we should it the Mehdi hotel (rather than the labyrinth des kasbah); I guess all other reviews reveal why so let me be brief. Mehdi simply breathes hospitality & will do everything is his power to make your stay in Morocco as pleasant as possible. His approach comes very authentic and that's something you wille feel immediately. As a host he brings the joy & peace into the place. Regarding the food: don't even think of eating elsewhere; his cooking is really great & very good value for money. Great place to explore the beautiful are of the Gorges des Dades (and even the Gorges the Todra, which I did). Highly recommendable!
