The cottage is located in a lovely neighbourhood 10 mins walk from beach. 5 mins from 401/E buses and eateries Host was amazing and have me great tips on where to go. WiFi very fast. Oh and fishing boats and village are very close

For me the location was perfect for a two days stay. Near the airport and many food places are within walking distance. The hotel/hostel is very clean. AC and fan . Bathrooms are very clean. The place has a kitchen customers can use. Easy check-in and checkout. Communication thrue booking and WhatsApp very easy and fast response. Thanks

It is the perfect place to relax after spending time on the busier other side of Penang island — especially if you enjoy nature and bicycle rides in the countryside. We upgraded to the chalet with private dip pool and that was a treat. The path up to the chalet is lined with fruit trees and the hosts explained each tree and the other plants around.

The staff responsible for the booking. - Yvonne Lam - was absolutely accommodating and did her best to male the stay as pleasant as possible. Balik Pulau isn't the heart of Penang tourism but if one is looking for an off-the-beaten track experience in Penang, then this is it. Super rustic, it is a wonderful place to hike, bike and explore the plantations and the hills. Located in the heart of Balik Pulau, de Village is a no-frills homestay that meets the needs of an adventurer. With two food courts right outside and an host of other eateries along the main road, this is a good jumping point to explore the area. A 24 hour self-service laundromat across the main road makes it convenient for those travelling light. A convenience store next to the homestay is great if you need to resupply.
