So spacious, well furnished, probably the most comfortable bed we’ve stayed in Malaysia over the last 6 weeks! Great aircon. Photos don’t do it justice. Staff very helpful, welcoming and kind, very responsive to messages about checking in and out. Lots of places to order food from and kitchen area to cook in if needed. Very close to airport and easy to get grab to.

A style of living cold Wales cannot offer. A feast for the eyes / or eye opener at every turn. Lovely food at the cafes along the walkways But don’t expect Welsh hotel facilities and be prepared to accept this jewel on its own terms. If you want 5 star hotels this is not for you. It has its own beauty and plenty of wildlife around in the sea if you choose to look. This village is a home and it’s a privilege to stay there.

Sherine and Jeffrey are the best hosts you can have. They are very kind people. They helped un sort out the bus from Sandakan/Sepilok to Kota Kinabalu as you can not book it online, only in Sandakan bus station. They also helped us with other things like the laundry or recomendations of restaurants and made our stay more comfortable. The rooms are clean, comfortable and so is the bathroom, which has separate shower and toilet (best shower in Malaysia so far). They have things you may need like toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo and shower gel, etc. There are snacks for guests and you also can buy drinks and instant noodles if neccesary. Thank you so much for your kindness, we are very very grateful!!!!

Amazing guesthouse. Super clean. Great location, in a peaceful area and walking distance to Sepilok centre. Comfortable beds. The host also offers drinks and snacks to purchase on spot for a very cheap price. Love it!!!

A very nice homestay. The pool wasn't working but only because of heavy rain and was due to reopen. We loved our time here.

We loved our stay here and Foung was such a generous host! We had a load of washing to do which he let us use his machine for as well as his electric bike so we could pop down the road. He even offered me some crackers, spread and mangosteens for breakfast and he made me a coffee. Couldn’t sing his praises more highly! Our room was very comfortable and clean. We loved the pool, the gym/fitness area was small but better than nothing! Communication with Foung over WhatsApp was easy too.
