I cannot recommend Joli Guesthouse enough. From the moment their taxi driver picked us up from the airport, the service of the staff was beyond excellent. My husband and I were visiting his son who lives in Maputo so we had him over every day and the staff were so accommodating to all three of us. The room was beautiful (king suite) and they cleaned and changed the sheets every morning while we were at breakfast. There was a continental breakfast but you could order something else from the breakfast menu at no additional charge. The pool and outdoor area was clean and beautiful. The staff would set out tea and homemade cakes or cookies in the evenings and there was a small mini fridge of drinks and snacks in the common area. We would absolutely stay again.

I had an exceptional experience at Green Stay House in the heart of Maputo! The location is perfect for exploring the city, with many attractions just a short walk away.     Palmeiras is such a beautiful Guest House surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very nice, and quiet neighborhood. Amazingly clean inside with much more space than expected, stunning bedrooms and bathrooms. I would highly recommend staying here! Ups!!! Forgot about the wonderful breakfast, this is a must try! Celia and her staff are such good hosts!
