I had a truly wonderful stay at this Kattel homestay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was perfectly maintained, clean, and comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing day. It was truly a delightful experience, and I would gladly return for another stay.

Very clean room, very friendly family. Absolute opposite of what I have seen before around big bus station Dhading. No cockroaches, no noise, no dirt. JUST PERFECT ACCOMODATION to stay in Katmandu, close to main bus station but PEACEful

Bobby is an excellent, caring and friendly host,he picked me up from the bus stop, waiting patiently as traffic held us up. A ride on the back of his motorbike to the hotel was great fun! Room spacious, double and single beds, wardrobe, chair and table, several power points, clothes stand. Directly outside the room is a wash basin, shower room and toilet next door, plus kitchen with kettle. Each guest is on a seperate floor, so very private. Sat up on the roof terrace in the sun one morning too. Central position, 2 minutes from Durbar Square, plenty of local shops including a supermarket next door to the hotel.

Sugat really made our stay as pleasant as possible. He was super friendly and always had good hints what to visit. He also made sure we could find and catch our busses. If you like to stay with friends, this is the place to go in Kathmandu. The area was a bit away from Thameel, but therefore quiet at night. We stayed here twice at the start and the end of our trip and did not regret it.

The room and toilet were clean and odorless, the mattress was firm enough, and the pillowcases and sheets were so white that I couldn't bear to dirty them! Breakfast was provided and nutritionally balanced. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, with a Buddhist temple and a small park for meditation and walking. It was about a ten-minute walk from the Mangwan Pagoda. I would choose this accommodation next time.The most important thing is that the hotel has air conditioning, so you don't have to worry about being overheated in the summer.
