Our first stay in Nepal couldn’t start better! Nir and his wife have been welcoming and always responsive to our needs. The location although a bit outside the centre was fine with us, in a quiet authentic area and easily accessible by taxis that you can book on the Indrive App. Strongly recommended!

The building is not in the center of Kathmandu, but the distance is compensated by the tranquility of the neighborhood (much less noisy than the center of Kathmandu) and the hospitality of the owners. Mira is also an excellent cook. For example, it makes amazing soups. As Kathmandu's attractions are located in several scattered areas of the valley, it is a good base for exploring the region using an app on your cell phone to call cheap taxis or motorbikes. It is also possible to reach the center of Kathmandu by bus. We ended up staying longer than originally expected. We quickly felt at home. If you need, the hosts also help plan your visit to Kathmandu or other areas of Nepal.
