From the very beginning our host Haroun was generous with his time and accomodating our request for an extra two days. This was a last minute change to our trip and it was amazing how quick his response time was. The quant fishing village of Qantab is a place which feels like the Mediterranean in the Middle East. The village has a supermarket for most of your needs and is still very close and accessible to Muscat. The room itself was clean with all electronics and airconditioning working perfectly. It was easily one of our best stays this year and I would recommend it without hesitation to all. The only point to note would be to have a vehicle to get around.

I had a lovely stay at a top location. Having lived in the area for almost a decade in the past, I believe Al-Qurum is the prettiest part of Muscat. A kind request to the host and future guests: please continue feeding the lovely cats in the guesthouse and around. I've enclosed a picture of one of my favorites, Kotya :)

I absolutely loved hearing the waves the waves at night from my room and the beach being just a few steps away. Qantab itself is such a gem and Salaam is nestled perfectly between the mountains, but still close to the city. Also, stunning hikes close by!
