Mia the host was wonderful, as it was just me she went out of her way to check in. She had great recommendations for nearby restaurants and beach resorts. She also did my washing and I rented a bike. The room was clean and comfortable. You can also order grab food there and Mia walked me to the nearest beach.

I had a great stay at Casa Aureola. It's a beautiful villa with only 2 or 3 guests (I even had the house alone). The villa is on the frontline to the beach and during the night you can hear the waves. It has a very big and well equipped kitchen which is connected to the living room with a beautiful balcony. When I had breakfast here I could watch the sea (see foto 1) The internet connection was available in all the rooms and even at the beach. The house is owned by a Philippine family who gave me the feeling being their private guest. I can't understand at all the negative review given here by one guest.

Very welcoming people, very helpful if you need everything. The room was as the pictures. Very clean and very big, hot shower. The nearest restaurant «the flamming resto bar » was very good and cheap, we recommend « boodle fight » for two. it is not so far from Alona Beach and the neighbour has a tricycle (150 pesos). Great people. We definitely recommend this place

A great place to relax away from the tourist areas. The breakfasts were always satisfying. The room was large and roomy, the mattress was extremely comfortable, the washroom was large, hot water shower was available. Staff were great and accommodating.

Good breakfast, for 200 peso per person on demand. Quality products and a variety of fruit, filling aswell! Host is superb, very friendly, helpful, accomodating. We had the ability to rent a scooter, very convenient. Clean sheets, floors and toiletries provided.

The house is very new and in a side alley so pretty quiet. It was very clean and well looked after, the owner was always available. We rented a scooter from them and even got help with bringing our luggage to the port. Wifi was the best we’ve had in our time in the Philippines so far. There is a fridge and a kettle for everyone to use in the hallway.
