Could not have wished for a better place to stay after a 30 hours long journey. I arrived far after midnight which was no problem and I could stay in the common room until 13.00 the next day so I did not have to rush the next day. Would really recommend this place!

The property looks and feels clean and the whole house smells nice. Looks like it was properly maintained. Shoutout to the filipina girl caretaker she looked after me and the other guests really well. She helped me and answered my questions throughout my stay.

One of the nicest places we have stayed in Taiwan. Right in the middle of Daxi old street, beautifully refurbished, with incredible care and attention to detail. The landlady was warm, friendly and enthusiastic, and the environment was simply beautiful. We felt very relaxed and at home.

This place is truly exceptional: Combines a beautiful view over the mountains, lake and distant ocean with a distinct NZ or UK-feeling of design, a nice romantic Hobbit-garden - and sounds of Nature all around. Good location for relax from city-life, with friends or as single-traveler. The owners were friendly and very helpful, provided a very good veggie dinner and breakfast on request.
