I have never heard if Fred and Winnie's before, even though I have passed by not far from there for many, many years. I was very pleasantly surprised by the "bang for your buck" in the sense of the contained fresh room I had. With a fridge, TV, and very nice showering facilities, good view and all, i coukd not have asked for more. An extensive breakfast and easy order-in options from any restaurants in Kampala, it was excellent. On top if it all though, was the warm hospitality offered by the hosts. I would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 256, The location was perfect! easy access to town and to the airport. It is located within a gated community, providing security and peace of mind. Our room had a lovely view of the lake, which was nice to wake up to. We enjoyed a well prepared breakfast and a delicious dinner of Ugandan local cuisine. Our rooms were very comfortable, well decorated, and had all the room amenities required. Toni and Esther, the hotel staff, were very attentive and always on hand to offer any assistance or information. Every area of the hotel has been well designed and is extremely inviting.

I had a great stay at Acacia Villa for 3 nights ! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room and the bathroom clean and comfortable. It's not far away from the city centre (about 10 minutes bodaboda) and there is a mall 10 minutes walk for anything you'd need. The atmosphere of the Villa is very chill, nice garden with a lovely view and very nice breakfast! I would choose this accomodation again! :)

I loved it close proximity to Speke Resort where I was attending the conference. The place was nice and clean. The location is situated close to other areas like supermarkets, gas stations and eateries. The breakfast offered is good too. I genuinely enjoyed my stay. I also loved that I found the place exactly as I had seen in the photos. I was very impressed.
