The place is cozy and it feels like home. The host is really kind and helpful. It’s close to the JFK (taxi was about 25$), also if you take the train to the city center it takes about 30 minutes from the accommodation to reach Manhattan.

My host was very friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I had requested a quiet room and she made sure I got a quiet room with blackout curtains, The room was very well supplied with all kinds of food items and drinks including alcohol. There was a microwave and kettle in the room also. There were extra blankets in the room and plenty of shampoos and other toiletries available in the bathroom to use. All day every day I was greeted by soothing low level, non-invasive music playing throughout the floor when I arrived back. It was very welcoming. The host also showed me a pantry just off the corridor which had even more food/drinks/snacks and I was told to help myself if I needed to during my stay. On my last day, there was a little parting gift hanging on the outside of my door. It was a lovely surprise! The train to Manhatten and JFK was only a short stroll away and even arriving back after midnight I felt totally safe in the neighbourhood. There is also a taxi service at the end of the block and they were very reasonably priced compared to Yellow Cabs and they were very accomodating. Everyone at the train station was most helpful and spent time ensuring that I got to where I wanted to go.

This was first time I stayed at home with owners. I felt myself in my house. Hosts excellent and very helpful. Well equipped kitchen.The room was big, comfortable bed, clean, and bathroom also big and clean. I found the area safe to walk around as I did a lot of walking.

Great location, very close to Times Square and Bryant park. loads of restaurants next to the hotel Walked everywhere from there. The mexican restaurant connected to the hotel seves great food and really friendly staff. The two ladies working the reception where absolute angels when I encountered some health issues and was bed bound for half our stay.
