Mimfri guest -house, is literary 10 minutes drive from the airport and another 2k to the centre of the Uzbek capital. It is a family run business and mother, father and their son could not do enough to make me feel most welcome. This is my third stan, Uzbekistan + Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan…People, old and young are friendly, with high standards of hospitality The accomodation, en-suite, spotless clean, with a healthy and varied breakfast, eaten in a cool and cosy inner court yard, all this, with an excellent value for money of £19. I don’t usually go to chain hotels …Each to their own but they all look almost identical. Going to these small family-run business you not only get a great personal service, save money for yourself but what is more important you support small businesses

I love this place. It is very close to all centers and very close to Metro and I love the location. It is in very strategic location. Everything was truly fantastic. The lady who manages the property was very kind and made sure our stay was comfortable and convenient. We tried the homemade plov, and it was exceptional. The breakfast, with jams and handmade products, was excellent. Room was incredibly large. Highly recommended.

I am very happy have chosen this guest house. The room had everything you needed, air conditioning, amenities, I liked everything. Special thanks to the hostess Saodad, who not only met and escorted to the train station early in the morning, but also made an excursion through Mahalia to show the mosque complex, the park and other special places of Tashkent. The hosts have a wonderful museum of antiques, Saodad knows all histories about them and happy to tell their stories. I will never forget her kindness and hospitality shown to me, and hope one day to visit them again.
