This was the best place i could stay at while visiting hai phong. Very close to all points of interest and even has a small lake right across the street. The owners of the place are some of the nicest people i've ever met. They were so kind and so helpful. And Even though its located on the main street, the room is very quiet and very comfortable.

Our stay at Rustic Homestay in Cat Ba was truly lovely. Nhe, Tang, and their adorable daughter welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like part of their family from the moment we arrived. Nhe made it her mission to help us with booking our activities and provided insider tips on exploring Cat Ba. She also had motorbikes we could rent! The rooms were spacious and clean. The homestay is located in a quiet neighborhood, providing a peaceful retreat after our adventures on the island. The homecooked breakfast served each morning was so delicious, offering a taste of local flavors. One of the highlights of our stay was the seafood hot pot dinner prepared by Nhe and Tang on our last night. It was undoubtedly the best meal we had during our time in Vietnam. As we shared stories and experiences with Nhe and Tang, we gained a deeper admiration for the Vietnamese people. Overall, our experience at Rustic Homestay was unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Nhe and Tang. We left with cherished memories, delicious coffee and some tears.
