Our experience at Hmong Sister House was a delightful blend of culinary exploration and social connection. The Buffalo trek allowed us to immerse ourselves in Hmong culture, but it was the authentic local dishes that truly captivated our taste buds. From the aromatic pho to the crispy spring rolls, each dish was a testament to Vietnam's culinary heritage. Gathering around the communal table, we realized that food was not only a source of nourishment but also a bridge to forging new friendships. The house is a little far from the center of Sapa but easy to travel to the town. This minor inconvenience was overshadowed by the connections and cherished moments we formed at the homestay. The water pressure fluctuations were like gentle reminders of the natural flow of experiences, adding a unique rhythm to our stay.

The location is quite convenient, approximately a 15-minute walk from downtown. Plus, there’s an excellent banh mi store just a five-minute walk away, which was a great bonus.
