Stayed 2 nights here just an hr drive from Hanoi city, 30mins to airport. Friendly and helpful owner Mr Phuong who contacted us even before we arrive to ensure the driver goes by the easier road to his accommodation. He often shared things we could do (swim in the pool, kayak, cycle, fish etc…) and his wife often offered us complimentary side dishes during our meals. Rooms are large & clean (towels, bottled water, coffee and tea are given daily), bed and comforter very comfy, water pressure is good and love the romantic set up in the room with balcony facing the lake. (Lake colour is usually blush green but due to recent heavy rainfall it changed the lake colour. Lots of easy paths (don’t need hiking shoes) to walk and enjoy nature, smell the natural pine trees and listen to birds singing. Both sides of the hills to explore or just chill by the lake side listening to traditionally Vietnamese music. The food served by the host was delicious and home cooked with no MSG. There are enough variety to choose for all our meals and iare reasonably priced. Host helped to arranged transport to mall with Big C supermarket near airport and then to airport as our flight was in the evening. He gave us the option to stay until time for our flight as well, but we chose to do last minute shopping. Thank you Mr Phuong for the hospitality and sharing your beautiful accommodation.
