Loved everything about here. The place is brand new and in pristine condition. The room was ultra clean, bright and spacious. Balcony had lovely views in all directions. The grounds were well laid out with nice lighting and planting. We ate in a beautiful thatched area on stilts and surrounded by water. The food was fresh and tasty! The family were helpful and very friendly. They provided bicycles to tour the island, a trip on their boat as well as complimentary fruit and water. Without doubt our best ever home stay. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Yennie is the most amazing host, probably in the whole of Vietnam. She was our first host on a three week trip and she set the standard so high that we haven’t yet had it exceeded. We thought the property at first was not really as rural as we wanted, but it turned out to be perfect. We did one day doing the motorbike tour which was beyond superb, and then we went to the island the next day. Yennies place was perfectly located and she was absolutely amazing. The food her mum and dad cooked was some of the best we had in Vietnam and she was incredibly helpful and welcoming and and and she included us in Christmas celebrations which involved taking presents to the local orphans. We spent the whole rest of our holiday saying “we miss Yennie!”. Yennie, we love you!

Phuong and her familiy were exeptional hosts, very friendly and attentive. They organized activities like a boat tour for us. The homestay has a really pretty garden. We would like to thank the homestay for the nice experience.

We loved the atmosphere and how genuine the guesthouse is. I enjoyed my stay at Phuong Thao Homestay and on the beautiful island An Binh so much that I extended it to over 2 weeks!  The homestay manager, his wife and sister - who speak very good English - together with the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The homestay is located about 3 km from the ferry to Vinh Long (10 minutes by bike). Nestled within a spacious, beautifully planted garden with lots of hammocks where you can unwind. My room (14) was in a "stone house" and I felt very comfortable in it - it was very quiet there.  Every morning, I was looking forward to the fantastic breakfast - in addition to the daily omelette with bread, you get a plate with different fruits. But the very best part - the different mouthwatering sweets 😋 every day. And to top it all, I could enjoy a swim in the pool surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the lodge that belongs to the homestay. Together, it was a wonderful start to every day :) The island An Binh is a scenic paradise, and exploring it by bike from the homestay was an adventure in itself. Short ferry trips to neighbouring islands and towns add to the charm of this wonderful location. I had a truly memorable time on the island and at this homestay. Upon my next visit, I will undoubtedly choose Phuong Thao Homestay again.

Beautiful garden and great pool, confortable enough room. You can easily get there by bus, and move around the homestay and to town with bycicle, beautiful surroundings. Dinner at the homestay was good!
