Situated in a quiet area of Sankt Wolfgang, a 12-minute walk from the centre, Hupfmühle Pension offers a restaurant serving Austrian cuisine and fish specialities. Free WiFi is provided in public areas, and a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang can be reached within a 9-minute walk. This is the nicest place I've stayed in since I've been in Austria. It is located nestled down beside a river about a 10 minute walk from the lake. The location is ideal if you wish to walk up to the top of Schafberg as the route starts nearby or even to get the funicular which runs close by. The room was very big and had a beautiful balcony that sat next to the stream that ran a little below. The views are also incredible, a must stay place.

We came to Austria for skiing and had a great experience in de Leopoldhof hotel. Beautiful spa, very comfortable apartment, nice staff and great service. Hotel is located in beautiful nature next to the lake. I could imagine it’s also very nice during summer.

All rooms and apartments have cable TV and a bathroom with toiletries. Most have a balcony. What a wonderful little apartment. The shower was great! The bedroom had plenty of room to move around the bed, and the windows had blackout shades. comfortable living room area if you’d like to sit someplace along with a dining table and a kitchen with all the conveniences.  I also appreciated the extras that you could purchase while staying there, like having a load of laundry, done, or purchasing tea or coffee to have in your room while staying there. They also provide a great breakfast each day.

Pension Schlömmer is located 4 km from Sankt Gilgen and has a private beach access to Lake Wolfgang, just 200 metres from the house. It offers for guests a balcony in every room. Guests have panoramic mountain and lake views. Free WiFi is available. Location, staff, service, beauty, drink selection, breakfast, friendliness, location, location, location!! Wonderful!

Just 150 metres from Lake Wolfgang, Gästehaus Kloibergütl offers a private beach with deckchairs, free bicycle hire, and free WiFi in the entire property. The terrace and the balconies in all apartments overlook the lake. We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was nice, comfortable, and very clean. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The lake is within walking distance, which was perfect for us. If you’re traveling with children, this place is ideal – the surrounding facilities are family-friendly and well-equipped. Highly recommended!

The rooms provide rustic furniture, satellite TV, a refrigerator, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony or a terrace. The apartment had absolutely everything that we could've wanted. Extremely well furnished with beautiful crockery, great views. Host very friendly and responsive, accommodating to our requests also. In the summer there are many insects, but one of the windows had an insect screen so we could still enjoy the breeze without getting bitten - this is the kind of attention to detail you can expect from this place! Extremely affordable for such a lovely apartment. Access to bus 150 (direct to Salzburg/ Bad Ischl) from the main road is convenient. As this property is located within Salzburg province, we had the guest mobility ticket for free public transport within Salzburg.

Each room has satellite TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. The house has fairy-tale location. It’s a scenic spot in itself. This is a B&B and it perfectly does its job with added benefit of kitchen in case of our room. Chek in, parking, sleeping, staying, cooking, and bathroom…. everything was perfect and so was the Host…. it’s 40 km to Hallstatt, but if you have car then it’s not an issue….. also lot of nearby activities….. superb choice for short or long stay…..

The room is spacious and boasts a well-equipped kitchen. Additionally, the balcony offers a stunning view of the garden. Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, despite the language barrier. They did their best to answer all of our questions and make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was truly wonderful to have the opportunity to meet them and stay at their place.
