The rooms are in an old seminary with very tall ceilings and windows. Very bright and sunny. The room was beautiful and well appointed. The breakfast was superior, and our host Robert makes a wicked espresso or cappuccino. Don't be deceived by the maps, the Pension is a short 10 minute walk from Stift Melk and the town centre.

The Christmas decorations around the property were lovely and a lot of time and care had been put into placing them. I would definitely book again.

We had such a great stay here! The location is beautiful - surrounded by vineyards and mountains - and the place itself is beautifully maintained, perfect for relaxing or heading out on trips. Located in Dürnstein in the Wachau Valley, just steps away from the Danube River, Winzerhof - Gästehaus Stöger features a garden, a bicycle storage room, and bicycle rental. The breakfast was excellent with very wide variaty.
