The private parking was great! The owners were caring and very attentive, they truly took care of us. It’s very close to the train station, so it was very easy to get around.

Peacefully situated a 5-minute walk from the centre of Brissago and overlooking the Lake Maggiore, the family-run Residence Venus Garden is surrounded by a picturesque garden with a furnished terrace... It was a truly special experience. The breakfasts felt like those in a five-star hotel – a variety of cheeses and cold cuts you could reorder, freshly home baked pastries, and all of this included in the price. On top of that, we had access to SUP boards, which we used to explore both sides of the lake, and bicycles for magical rides just 10 minutes from the Italian border, where we enjoyed a chilled Aperol. We had an amazing room with air conditioning – something you don’t usually find in Switzerland. A special thank you to our hosts, who were always available, ready to help, and happy to provide anything we needed to make our stay in their apartment truly wonderful. We absolutely loved our stay!

Hotel Garni Villa del Sole is located in Ponte Tresa, a 20-minute walk from Lake Lugano. It offers accommodation with kitchenettes and terraces, overlooking Monte di Varese and Malcantone. Everything was amazing. Our hosts were very friendly and kind. Beautiful and clean room with a great terrace. Homemade confiture that was served with breakfast from fruit grown on the property was the best I’ve ever had.
