A recently renovated homestay situated in Fenghuang, Fenghuang Ancient Town Lazy Cat Riverside Inn features a terrace. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. At the homestay, each unit is fitted with a desk. There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the homestay, the units come with bed linen and towels. The location is very good - away from Bars and noisy area - about 150m from main road across Wind bridge where nightly singing and entertainment on a river pontoon were provided free - short walk from river side walkways, lane ways, shops, restaurants, attractions, etc. Attached Wind bridge photo shows river pontoon in the middle of river and main road is on the right up a stair and Dream 2 mins walk via a lane way on the left. Had 4 nights of catered 4 courses local home cooked dinners which were better and much cheaper than in a restaurant. Highly recommended but 24 hrs notice is required as staffs need to go to local market in the morning for fresh ingredients. If your are lucky, you might have fresh eggs from resident chickens for a delicious breakfast. On request before arrival, Liu Yuen, the host ordered lactose free milk from out of town and provide gluten free meals for us as well. Advised of our arrival time at train station, Liu Yuen organized car pick up service and staffs to help with our luggage from the roadside. Liu Yuen have a bar at the ground floor. As our Chinese are basic and Liu Yuen English is basic too, so communication with him and staffs were via WeChat which have translation helping us to have an enjoyable 5 nights stay. Will definitely consider another stay at Dream in FengHuang

At the homestay, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. I liked everything, especially our dear Cherry, who speaks very well english and helped us a lot with everything we need, also taking tickets at good price for National Park and others,explaining what to do there. The location is few minutes walking from the entrance of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Lot of tasty and cheap food near hotel. Room clean, very nice, everyday change towels, give you free water, also coffee if you want. I am so happy i choose this one, and met her and her family. They are devotated and help you with all you need.Also help us book train tickets. Learn us how to come and go by bus, to be cheaper. It is 2 minutes from bus station. The area very nice to walk and enjoy. If i could, i would give more than 10.

Looking to come visit the esteemed Avatar mountain? Wanting to explore the Canyon of Zhangjiajie? This is a lovely home just outside of the main city of Yongding. I was even able to tour the parks ony own with the information and maps the host provided. He respectfully helped purchase and guide my itinerary as a local who knew how far away the sites were, time it takes to get there, and how much time to spend in the parks themselves. This stay is PERFECT for relaxing, enjoying peace, eating a tasty Hunan breakfast spread, and branching out. If you are looking for a stay around the area, the host and his family are genuine and truly know hospitality. Highly recommend.

Becca (the host) is very helpful and can speak english fluently. She also help us to buy tickets to national park and grand canyon. the hotel provide free transport to the entrance gate of national park. 💕

The staff were so friendly and helpful, using a translator device to communicate perfectly. One staff member even helped us buy tickets for Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain and gave us a map that was absolute gold. Thanks to him, our trip was smooth and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in Wulingyuan, close to the main park and the gran canyon. Rebecca was very helpful, she explained me how the park works and helped me to book the tickets in advance. Sightseeing tours are available nearby. A car rental service is available at the homestay. The location is great. It is a short walk to the Tianmen Cable and also close to the airport. Lots of restos and stores around it. Also thankful to the owner for suggesting the Tianmen route. We coveres everything. I would also suggest to get tickets for Tianmen and Zhangjiaje Natl Park from them. It is cheaper.

Set in Zhangjiajie, WALLY HOUSE 张家界青山惠风民宿 features free WiFi. The property is located 400 metres from Yuanjiajie, 2.1 km from Bailong Elevator and 2.5 km from Zixia Taoist Temple. Suoxiyu is 3.2 km from the property. The staff was exceptional, he helped us a lot in finding the best route in the park for our needs. He also speak English and helped us on our next accommodation late check in. The location is perfect to enter the park through east gate.
