The location and the pension was very quiet and calm. Parking was excellent. Access to the autobahn was quick and easy. The hosts were excellent.

This historic 4-star hotel, situated in the heart of the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, right in the Frankenhöhe Nature Park, offers enchanting accommodation in a Gothic style. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Loved the location, right in the centre of the historic town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size, the bathroom was huge. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Loved the decor. The breakfast area was superb. The breakfast was adequate but not a lot of variety unfortunately but still nice. Parking for the car was close enough to the hotel and we were able to unload luggage outside before moving it. I would highly recommend this accommodation and if I'm lucky enough to visit again I would stay here.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. We loved this excellent hotel! It has a dream-like location with mountain views and is close to very nice hiking trails. The room was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. The breakfast and coffee were good. The staff was very kind and friendly.
