A home from home for a short break away Great location for exploring the island Stunning gardens, it was perfect as my little one could run around and play Plenty of lovely fluffy towels and some lovely welcome treats on arrival! Great hosts.
Nice place to stay as we travelled round north wales. Davina was a lovely host.
What a glorious building! Felt so grand staying here. The spa, pool and sauna facilities were lovely and the rooms, though a bit dated were very comfortable. In a wonderful location. The people were really lovely. Getting to meet some locals in the spa area was lovely. Especially heating stories of the places history.
Tranquillity, Fab location, Fab property, Great host in Helen.
Friendly staff Great food and drinks! Friendly locals Location close to where I was going (race circuit) £99 for 2 nights Room cleaned up between nights Drinkers quietened down after 11 - surprised as I expected later
Very handily placed for visiting the bird-watching locations I'd come to Anglesey for. Locals in the bar were friendly & helpful.
Location and lovely hosts
We were warmly greeted by our host, Catherine, upon arrival and immediately felt ‘at home’. The entire experience which sadly only comprised a one-night stopover far exceeded our expectations, hence the title of our review. Whilst we are experienced travellers we rarely, if ever, book private homes, I’m happy to say that Dafarn Newydd has challenged that habit. We will be returning and have already made strong recommendations to our Irish friends who travel through Anglesey regularly. Thank you.
