The room was so beautiful. Amazing bed. Amazing and spacious bathroom. Everything clean. Reception staff was very kind and helpful. Housekeeping was leaving us chocolate bars every day. Great environment overall and very close to some convenience stores, pubs, restaurants and bus stops. In just 20 mins you can be in the scenic downtown of the fairytale like Edinburgh. Recommended.

We're absolutely in love with this guesthouse and are definitely planning on coming back for the next trip to Edinburgh. Sinead and Chris were so sweet and helpful and forthcoming, the location was really great (and we've only travelled by bus, which was no problem at all), the view in the sea-facing room is fantastic, we've slept heavenly in those comfy beds, and the breakfast is a MUST. 10/10 recommendation!

Lorna was an amazing host. In general, accommodation around Edinburgh is quite expensive so we found this place which was relatively affordable compared to other places and had a high rating. It is a house-turned-b&b, has 3 small rooms and a nice small dining room. Everything was super clean and Lorna was the friendliest host we have ever met. She gives you a small form to fill every night to get your breakfast preferences and time to eat. Her cooking is lovely. Definitely recommend her full Scottish breakfast with Haggis. She cooked the best haggis out of the 3 restaurants we tried. The only downside was that the place is quite far from the city (45 min bus ride - take X27) and there is only one bus that goes there but if you catch it and don't mind the travel time, it is definitely worth a stay.
