The hosts and staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was so delicious that we also ate lunch and dinners in the homestay and we highly recommend the food! We also did laundry, everything came fresh and clean :) The location is wonderful to explore Munduk, we did a short trekking from the Homestay to see waterfalls nearby. The view from the home is also amazing :) Cannot recommend enough! :)

A minimarket is available at the homestay. Absolutely everything was wonderful. Ketut is a gracious host, and he and his family have created a beautifully secluded homestay environment. Samblung Mas House is a welcome oasis after a hectic day of touring Bali. The serene private pool is refreshing, and the optional use of a shared kitchen is an added bonus. Complimentary local pastries, fresh fruit, tea, and coffee is served on your private terrace every morning to start your day right. Ketut was kind enough to pick me up from the airport and stop at trusted stores to pick up phone sim cards and takeaway lunch from an amazing Warung. Don't exchange your money at the airport like I did - they short-changed me - if I'd known I would have gone to one of the plenty of better options around town that Ketut was happy to drive me to. Samblung Mas House is a hidden gem and I look forward to my next stay there.

We stayed for three days in Ubud and chose this accommodation because it was exactly what we were looking for. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, despite being right in the city center. Many of Ubud’s main attractions were within walking distance, making our stay even more convenient. The hospitality of the family who runs the place was exceptional — they made us feel at home and were always available to help with anything we needed. They offer services like motorbike rental, laundry, and transportation to the port, which we found very useful. Every morning, we enjoyed our breakfast in the small, beautifully designed courtyard in front of our room, adding a special touch to our stay. The only small downside was a slight smell of humidity from the bathroom, but it didn’t affect our experience significantly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend it!
