The owner is dutch and the organisation is well organised by his staff. The design of the complex is very pretty, lots of plants everywhere, pool is great. they also advertise lots of additional services - Landry, massages, drivers, pickups etc no pressure to use any and when we did it was at a reasonable price - pick up from train station very glad we had a pick up, it was a zoo on arrival - plus handy having someone who knows where the property is located. - they organised a driver for the day to take us to Bobudura and gave us the QR code to book it, this was worth it to not have the stress of organising our own transport. - we had. a massage in the room one afternoon, great - laundry easy and by the kilo - breakfast, given a choice the night before to order what you want, noodles, rice etc We actually extended our stay as it is super hot and decided to just chill here for a bit before moving on. They have family rooms which was great for us. Felt like this was good value for money.

Hiljuti renoveeritud kodumajutus Casa de Vie Homestay asub Blimbingis, 3,4 km kaugusel Mpu Purwa muuseumist. Kohapeal on terrass ja vaated vaiksele tänavale. Talk about luck! I tried to book their hostel again, but they were fully booked! Luckily, I switched to their homestay, and the service was just as wonderful. While the location is a little out of town, the fantastic service completely made up for it! The room was spotlessly clean, and their bed was seriously comfortable. Being able to watch Netflix right in my room? That’s a luxury I rarely found throughout my trip in Indonesia!

Accommodation is great value. Property, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were super clean. Bed and AC were comfortable. We booked the Ijen tour with the host Johan and had a great experience. Price seemed fair. We got helpful recommendations from Johan's nephew for local spots. Johan offers other tours we wished we could have taken advantage of (but we had to move on to our next destination). We'd stay here again!

Lovely home stay, comfy beds, very helpful and kind owner. He told us of all the options to visit Mount Bromo (one could book the tour directly via the owner) and we ended up staying at Brak for 2 nights and doing the Mt Bromo trip directly from Probolinggo. We pre-ordered a Gojek (like Grab) at 2 am for 250k, the driver drove us to Cemorolawang, we did the hike and everything, had breakfast in Cemorolawang, then came back to Probolinggo. We can back with the same driver, but one can easily also use the shared minivans, it is easy to get from Cemorolawang to Probolinggo during the day. When we came back, the owner greeted us with tea and we had a good rest. Doing Mt. Bromo from Probolinggo is easy and less tiresome, we’re happy we chose this way! I can only recommend this guesthouse, this was Indonesian hospitality at its best that we experienced.
