The location was perfect—quiet, cool, and peaceful, making it a great escape from the city. Plus, the hotel is equipped with Starlink WiFi, which was fast and reliable enough for me to get some work done during the trip. Highly recommended!

We love how the staff treated us, especially the owner, Annie. She was responsive to all our questions. We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.

She helped us with everything, especially as ijen was closed, and how to route to malang on a different train when the main one was full. They also prepared breakfast to go for us super early in the morning, and waited for our taxi with us. The loveliest people.
