It genuinely felt like home away from home, something I never expected from an accommodation. For any solo traveler (or anyone really), this place offers more than just a stay — it offers comfort, connection, and a peaceful vibe that stays with you. Highly recommended!

I stayed for just one night here as I was off to climb Rinjani the next morning - so I just needed a comfortable bed/room, and as for the rest - ask and you shall be given (usually). Agung and Tina were kind enough to lend me their travel adapter, and Tina even made me a herbal drink to help settle my tummy before the climb. And the 3 kids of course, what a delight to see them running around! And breakfast was right on the dot, needless to mention delicious :)

We LOVED Kalamoana house! We would definitely come back here again. The host was amazing and sorted everything out for us. He also makes the most delicious breakfasts and knows every guest by name. The room was cleaned to perfection too when requested!

We absolutely loved this place! The place is new, clean and quiet. It also has a terrace with a view of mountain and rice terraces. You can see the sunrise from your bed. The breakfast and also lunch we had later on were both very tasty. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. We also went with Sum as our guide one day and we really enjoyed it.

Really nice and secluded place. Felt like one could have your own little meditation retreat. Really nice bungalow all in wood. Super clean. Staff attentive. I did the cooking class with them and enjoyed cooking and trying all the different local dishes

The homestay was in a very nice area. Surrounded by rice fields. The drive up there was also beautiful. You have a nice view on Mount Rinjani. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The owner is super nice and helpful. The food they offer is very delicious and the portions are huge compared to the Warungs. The little hut we were staying in was super nice and looked quite new. There locals around are also super nice. There was a ceremony going on when we arrived and they invited us to join. Felt very safe and welcome here.
