It's not far from the beach (15 minutes walking) and pretty close to the market and restaurants. It's a nice and quiet place, where you can have a rest after noisy big cities. Edward is very kind and he always helped whether we needed some cutlery or some advise. He also helped to book a taxi for the airport. The room is pretty spacious and clean. One time the neighbours were a little noisy, but Edward helped to solve this question. In general it's a quiet place and you can close the windows and have a really good sleep.

Stay was comfortable and close to the beach. Nice and Clean rooms. Jack (Owner) is very cooperative. Mujahid at reception was very helpful.

I can easily manage here. We can see the sea from the balcony. Everything is good here. Filter water available. Small kitchen and fridge also available. Water heater kettle smart tv also available.

Honestly the best service I have experienced in India! Room was so spacious, clean and bathroom was new with great shower power. Location was great,2 minutes away from the beach and Main Street. The best experience however was owner Glen and his sons, they were so welcoming and kind and made sure I have everything what I asked for and were very responsive to any message. Wonderful family! Wish I could stay longer.

Overlooking the whitewashed St. Sebastian Chapel, Afonso Guest House is located in the heart of Fontainhas, an old Latin Quarter. Free WiFi access is available. The Panaji Kadamba Bus Station is just 800 metres away. Afonso Guest house exceeded all our expectations! It is in fact even much more beautiful than shown on internet. The roof garden full of plants and flowers is a real highlight. Breakfast up there wíth traditional Goan bread was delicious. The room was spacious enough, very clean, everything is functioning well (also WIFI) and the owner lady is a lovely host, very knowledgeable and always ready to help you or give you informations. We can highly recommand this place and wish to come back!
