It's the only apartment we stayed in during our trip around Iceland in which we could use a washing machine and a dryer. The fact that you share bathroom and kitchen with other guests might be a nuisance if you're on a tight schedule and these are occupied by other guests. However, this rarely happened, and with three bathrooms for 5 rooms, we only had to wait a bit to use the spacious kitchen a couple of times in 3 days because we were really unlucky and everyone wanted to cook at the same time. :-)
