Taking your shoes off at entree, sliding doors, gymnasium, kitchen. Amazing. Even more amazing was the staff. The explained every thing well, gave recommendations for food and travel. I even got lucky and hitched a ride back to Nakatsugawa, with a perfect pitstop at Hillbilly Coffee (highly recommend). I stayed here after walking Nakasendo Trail from Tsumago. The room so spacious, private onsen was the best experience, all clean, we could use dining room with amazing view and the host super friendly.

Please pay in cash or by card upon check-in. Guests under 12 years old are exempt from the lodging tax. The staff was exceptionally helpful even when we had issues contacting another hotel as they only offered a Japanese phone line.

The next morning he drove us to the dinosaur museum in time to make our reservations. Amazing service!
