Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.

It is over half way along the route so it's a great place to stop over to rest if you want to do the full route in 1.5/2 days. This was our first time sleeping on the tatami mats and we were pleasantly surprised with the comfort and warmth! The staff were so kind, we were very sad to be leaving!
