If you are looking to stay in a traditional japanese home, Danne-Danne is an excellent choice - with modern facilities but with the old style. The host was also super helpful and responsive!

The property is non-smoking and is situated 34 km from Maizuru Brick Park. The family is very friendly and cute. The house is just awesome and I strongly suggest to take the diner and breakfast because the food is simply delicious. I could even tried a real kendo outfit and met one of the daughter from Okinawa with her lovely newborn. We had great chat and we tried dishes I didn't existed. They're also very generous. We had to leave very early in the morning, so they got up to make us small bento box for the road. I strongly recommend.
