Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. I have coeliac disease, and they went out of their way to make us a vegetarian and gluten-free breakfast which was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a welcome drink in the garden. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and shared bathroom facilities were nice and clean. Would recommend to anyone walking the Kumano Kodo and passing through Chikatsuyu.

It is located less than 1 km from Kuroda Han Historical Gate and provides a lift. Guests can access the homestay via private entrance. The flat/ room was spacious, clean, all the amenities and utilities.. Hist was very helpful with our checking and check out bags storage. The area is ideal and walking distance from Central attractions and shops.. All in all could not ask for more, would revisit anytime and wholeheartedly recommend.. Just a great experience overall*****

My family and I liked how spacious, convenient and warm welcoming our host was! The location was few minutes walking distance to local restaurants and family mart. It was also approximately 8 minutes from Kumano Hayatama Taisha and in front of the bus stop heading towards to Nachi. Our host, Sasaki-san, was also kind to give us an introduction to the place along with offering free icecream, beer and sake! Overall we recommend this place!

Convenient to Dotonbori area (10-15 mins walk) but not too close to this noisy touristy area. Close to train stations. Lots of small neighborhood restaurants close by.
