Having bikes available (regular ones are free) was SUCH a nice bonus, it literally made my trip. I could get around easily (you do need to like biking) including going to the city, or to nearby beaches, or even to much further places.

I had the luck to be there to celebrate my birthday during one of the evening get-together parties in the living room. The accommodation is very comfortable, with the proper heating/AC needed for the changing weather at the island, the futons were comfy, and the blankets really cozy. The bathroom and shower were super clean and functional, with a clean towel for every night at the stay and elegantly decorated. The common area, living room with kitchen, is fully equipped, with comfortable decoration, and the most beautiful view to the sea. The location is great as well, as there is a beach close by and a delicious café near the hotel. I can only recommend this place wholeheartedly. The hosts are really friendly, easy going and will help in case of any questions.

On the day of check in , muu-chan, one of the guest house manager is very kind and luckily we had a great time with other wonderful guests from all over the world, the stars we saw together at night on the near by beach were beautiful! This is one of the best guest house for me.

The owner was very kind, the room and shared facilities were well-maintained and clean, the mini kitchen had everything you need for a short stay, the cats (and one dog) living on the ground floor were super cute and provided much-needed respite from the writing. Great location near the Gintengai bars (which I didn’t go to this time because I had to focus on writing, but I’ve been there and they’re great) and a convenience store and supermarket all within walking distance, overall great value for money!
